Intro to Praying the Hours

Join Emily and Daniel from 10:20-11am before church for a brief introduction to praying the liturgy of the hours. We invite you to get a copy of either Christmastide: Prayers From Advent Through Epiphany or The Divine Hours: Prayers for Autumn and Wintertime and join us in using this prayer tool during Advent (starts Nov. 30 this year) and ending at Epiphany (Jan. 6). During this intro session we’ll talk about a brief history of the hours, the purpose of praying this way, and how to use the prayer book.
