Unconditional Love Meditation
This meditation is about unconditional love. It refers to loving someone for who they are, regardless of what they do.
Sit comfortably. Put your feet on something solid like the floor. Sit up straight and take a long, slow breath in through your nose, then a long slow breath out through your mouth. Breathe in again, relaxing your body and focusing your mind. Then, breathe out.
Think about unconditional love and someone in your life who loves you this way.
It could be a parent, a child, a friend, a pet or anyone that comes to mind.
Focus on the warm feeling of being unconditionally loved. Loved for just who you are as a person, not for what you can do or have done.
Let that feeling seep into your whole body, filling it the way water fills a well. A loving feeling starting in your feet and rising up through your legs. Feel warmth in your belly where you may hold tension. Let the tension go. Feel the warmth in your heart where you know love. Let this feeling of love move down your arms and finally up to your head.
And now allow yourself to connect to the unconditional love that you receive from God. Know that the Divine loves you this way.
Continue to breathe at a comfortable pace and sit with the idea that God loves you unconditionally.
Let this love course through your body.
Now focus on a person in your life that you can extend unconditional love to. Imagine a stream of energy connecting the two of you and let the love flow between you. See if you can imagine seeing this person the way God sees them, and extend that love to them.
Finally, sit for a minute knowing that you are loved completely
